Senior User Researcher

We are supporting the NHS and government services to hire a User Researcher on a freelance (remote first with occasional meetings in Manchester). This role will work with the Enterprise Discovery Manager within the Enterprise Architecture Service and will be operating at a senior level. The core delivery will be to identify users and gather user requirements to form problem statements and to test if digital requests will meet users needs.

The correct person will be a senior user researcher who can show where they have worked with similar government health services, identifying problems and challenges facing the operations, and from this implementing discovery processes and research best practices.

About You:

You are an experienced user researcher who ideally has knowledge of the NHS and healthcare settings.

You can show commercially where you have conducted both qualitative and quantitative user research

You can give examples where you have worked with senior-level stakeholders in workshop and meeting settings

From your commercial experience you will have tried and tested different discovery and hypothesis research methods and be able to work autonomously implementing solutions

You will ideally have experience within government frameworks and can show examples where you have delivered successfully

You are structured, well-organised, and able to manage product and research processes successfully

You will be used to working with a range of different audiences, you will know how to create engagement, and you love running user research sessions!
