Brand Marketing Designer

The home improvement market in the UK is worth more than £15 Billion and since 2019 has grown between 6-10% per year. There is a real demand for trusted builders and contractors and a huge shortage of suitable resources. We have an opportunity for a marketing designer to join a scaling digital organisation that provides a digital solution to connecting homeowners and property investors with reputable building firms.

This is a smart web platform with a slick and simplistic design. They have been trading for five years and are now ready to invest in a full-time marketing and product team. As the first permanent marketing designer you will own every digital branding touchpoint, working alongside the marketing and product manager you will create social content solutions, design for video, create animation explainers and much much more.

About You:

You are a mid to senior level graphic and digital designer ideally with experience working within start-ups and scale-ups and a passion for supporting businesses launch their brand and products.

Throughout your portfolio you can show examples of social content designs, web and digital asset designs, print and large format designs.

You will most likely have created brand guidelines in the past, and helped businesses develop those guidelines by offering advice and strategy to key stakeholders through workshops and meetings

You will be able to show where you have developed brand identities in the past, taking them on a journey and creating stand out visuals and videos

You are skilled across the full adobe suite, you may also be experienced with Sketch, Webflow or other leading design tools

You love working in teams value collaboration, whilst this is a small business they have just received investment and are scaling the marketing and product teams

You have experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment and are comfortable working autonomously.
